The hotel is located rightly besides the gate of entrance to Campo, 5 minutes walking to the square. Our room is on the 1st floor with garden view. It's smart, quiet and romantic. The breakfast is wonderful and the fantastic view of Tuscany landscape in the garden is so amazing and attractive. By the way, the receptionist is so gently and helpful that delighted us so much. No doubt we will stay again next time and recommend to other friends.
We were upgraded from 2 double rooms to a two room apartment and liked the view best of all as well as the friendly staff. Heater problem attended to expeditiously and professionally.
The mattresses in the apartment were not comfortable and quite a few of the light bulbs were not working.
The view from the "picnic" area was incredible. My daughter and I enjoyed sitting in the back yard. Sharing wine and goodies from the bakery and deli.
The stairs up to the loft were a bit scary in the middle of the night, if you had to go downstairs to use the bathroom.
Great location right outside the city wall, although a little hard to find without a good map or GPS
Staff very friendly and helpful. Location right outside gates to Sienna met our needs as we were driving at that point in our trip. Yet still an easy walk into town. Lovely setting overlooking hills in back.
My stay was very short, however I've appreciated the large and quiet room, the nice garden with view towards the country and the position near the historical centre.
Lovely period furnishings. Beautiful patio overlooking Tuscan hillside and yet close to Sienas walls. Great breakfast with espresso/ cappucino made by staff. Bar service in the daytime with very reasonable rates. Great bathroom, clean and lots of hot water. TV not a strong suit but not there for the TV! Comfortable bed, cant say enough about this property.
Small and friendly, and comfortable hotel. Beautiful views from bedrooms , with air conditioning, facing the garden. lovely garden where you can take a buffet breakfast in summer. Very helpful friendly English speaking staff. A short 10-15 minutes walk to the Campo in the centre of Siena. I was travelling alone and found the location very safe.
Beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside, very attentive staff and a lovely air conditioned room!
The hotel staff was very good. Very curtious and helpful for events locally. Also, they are very knowledgable of great restaurants in the area. We loved our room and stay at the hotel. Whenever we get back to Italy... We will defenitely stay again!! Thanks Andrea for all your help.
The hotel building is an 18th century villa, and many of the antiquities like floor terra cotta and furniture is well preserved. It has a beautiful garden overlooking a Tuscan landscape, in which you can have rich hearty breakfast. The staff is very kind, and always trying to procure guests' needs. This piece of heaven is only a ten minutes walk away from il Campo, Sienna's center.
The garden and the view of tuscany from the garden and hotel windows were breathtaking! It was so beautiful sitting out in the midst of all those roses, gardenias and many others drinking hot chocolate and looking at views that looked like a painting!
This was a return to a lovely hotel on the edge of Siena. There is a wonderful view of the hills of Chianti from the terrace where we had breakfast, the bedrooms were comfortable and clean: and the view! And then there was a 10 minute walk into the centre of Sienese history and shops.
A very charming hotel and the back rooms have a wonderful view of the Tuscany countryside or hotel gardens. Location was excellent -- one block walk to the city gates. Hotel service went out of their way to meet our needs. Parking while expensive was convenient. Good internet connection.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff and the location is within sight of the entrance to Siena's walled city. The garden view was among the best and made fir a wonderful breakfast venue.
